Content Guidelines
Please read these guidelines carefully before submitting content to the Saraswati Temple Digital Library.
Accepted Content
- 1Original religious texts, prayers, mantras, and hymns
- 2Temple-related documents, photos, and archival material
- 3Educational material for students (notes, guides, study resources)
- 4Audio/video recordings of temple events, bhajans, and kirtans recorded with permission
- 5Scans of old manuscripts, handwritten texts, or family religious collections
- 6Public domain scriptures and Vedic literature
- 7Content you have created yourself (articles, summaries, translations)
- 8Material where you have written permission from the copyright holder
NOT Allowed (Will Be Rejected)
- 1Copyrighted material — Do NOT upload books, articles, music, or videos that are protected by copyright unless you have written permission from the copyright holder
- 2Commercially published books or e-books (even if religious in nature)
- 3Content downloaded from other websites without permission
- 4Content that is not related to the temple, religion, or education
- 5Offensive, political, or inappropriate material
- 6Duplicate content that already exists in the library
- 7Low-quality scans, blurry images, or corrupted files
- 8Personal or private information about individuals without their consent
Tips for Good Submissions
- Always mention the original author/source when submitting content
- Use clear, descriptive titles in the language of the content
- Add a brief description to help others find and understand the content
- Choose the correct category and language for your submission
- If uploading a PDF, ensure it is readable and not password-protected
- For audio/video, ensure the recording quality is acceptable
- Upload a thumbnail image for better visibility in the library
Important Notice
All submissions are reviewed by temple administrators before being published. Submissions that violate these guidelines will be rejected. Repeated violations may result in loss of submission privileges. If you are unsure whether your content is allowed, please contact the temple administration before submitting.
